Home/Work is one of those charming little shops perfect for a day trip, offering a delightful mix of local art and fun souvenirs. I first met owner Sonia McMoran when I photographed her and her shop for a feature in Sunset Magazine. Sonia had spent over a decade reporting on interior design and technology trends for renowned publications like The New York Times, Wired, ReadyMade, and Apartment Therapy. Our shared background in editorial publications made us quick friends.
When Sonia needed new photography for her website, it was an easy yes! While she mostly needed interiors photography of the store, we suggested creating some product photography vignettes of of her best sellers for variety. We collaborated with prop stylist Laura Cook to capture these curated product images. Working with small business owners is always such a treat—We love helping people make their dreams come true!
