Meet Helynn—photographer, creative director—obsessed with all things light/shadow.
Introducing Helynn Ospina, our lead photographer and the creative force behind Space & Light. With a rich tapestry of experiences and a passion for storytelling, Helynn brings a unique perspective to interior photography.
Her diverse journey includes service in the U.S. Marines and a career in scientific research, highlighting her love for boundary-pushing challenges. Helynn's meticulous, investigative nature found its ideal outlet in photography, where her thoughtful curiosity fuels her creative process.
With a portfolio that includes clients like Airbnb and TripAdvisor, Helynn brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every project. Her work has been celebrated by publications such as Communication Arts and featured in prestigious outlets like The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. She's the perfect blend of matter-of-fact professionalism and down-to-earth charm, making shoots with her both efficient and enjoyable.

Meet Jackie–the woman with all the details and powerhouse project manager.
Introducing Jackie Hancock, the detail-oriented powerhouse and project manager at Space & Light. With a blend of hard work, discipline, and play, Jackie brings her extensive photography and business background to our team, ensuring every project runs smoothly. She collaborates seamlessly with photographers, artists, producers, and talent, ensuring successful shoots.
Jackie’s journey began with a BFA in photography from the University of Michigan, followed by a role at a non-profit art center. She moved to San Francisco to earn her MFA in photography, honing her skills and building a robust business network while collaborating with high-profile clients like Method Products, Taco Bell, Tim Hortons, and Coca-Cola.
Her expertise expanded into artist management, booking artists for projects, managing contracts, and strategizing artist development. Her ability to juggle responsibilities and maintain high production standards makes her invaluable to our team.
Jackie’s passion for photography is matched by her love for fashion, tattoos, football, and her sphynx cats, Princeton and the late Kingston. She enjoys exploring the city, visiting parks, cafes, and art galleries. For in-person meetings, Jackie is always up for grabbing a beverage and discussing your next project.
