Welcome to Place & Presence, the storytelling home of Space & Light Studios. This is where I share the journey behind my work as an interiors photographer—my love for spaces, the way light transforms them, and the stories they tell about the people who inhabit them.
Photography, for me, is so much more than capturing beautiful rooms. It’s about capturing a feeling, a sense of belonging. Every space holds a story, and my job is to find it, frame it, and share it with the world.
The relationship between spaces and belonging is deeply personal to me. Growing up, my family moved around a lot, and I never felt like I had a permanent home. But with every move came a new fascination—watching how people made their spaces feel personal and alive. I’d catch glimpses of living rooms through open windows or notice how the morning light seemed to bring a kitchen to life.
That curiosity grew into a passion and, eventually, into a calling. I become an interiors photographer to honor the connection between people and their spaces—to celebrate the creativity, care, and emotion that go into every detail.
The Meaning of Place & Presence
The name Place & Presence reflects everything I believe about my work.
• Place is the space itself: the design, the layout, the textures, and colors that create its structure.
• Presence is what gives the space life: the light, the mood, and the stories of the people who live or work there.
Together, these elements tell a story that goes far beyond the walls. Through Place & Presence, I want to share the philosophy behind my photography, explore the emotional impact of design, and reflect on how spaces shape us—and how we shape them.

Why Photography Matters to Me

I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible designers, architects, and brands, and every project is a new opportunity to celebrate the artistry and intention behind their work. My job is to bring their vision to life through images that evoke connection and inspiration.
